The Rochefort 10° is well recognized by its blue crown seal. The beer is only available in bottles, and it contains about 12% alcohol. It is the most frequently served beer among the three Rochefort beers. The ale is brewed with natural spring water from the local Tridaine spring, Pale malt and Munich malt, Unmalted grain, Yeast, Sugar, Hallertau, and Styrian Golding hops. It has powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The initial taste is sweetly sinful, and the alcohol gives a warm-up of the throat. It’s a clear deep brown beer, and Rochefort 10° is the darkest of the small Rochefort collections.
