Smooth, red wine made from the grape Nero d'Avola from Sicily.
Sicily is the largest wine supplier in Italy with a winemaking tradition dating back 2500 years. However, the reputation and style of the wines have changed significantly over the years. In the past, Sicily was often associated with sweet Muscat and fortified Marsala wines. In recent years, however, there is more emphasis on quality terroir wines.
Mandrarossa is characteristic of the new wind that blows through the Sicilian wine landscape. International winemakers are bringing new technology to the unique climate. The vineyards are located along the southern coast of Sicily, a region dominated by many hills, expositions and slopes with a wide variety of soils. The nearby Mediterranean Sea completes this special region. By combining indigenous and international grape varieties, Mandrarossa creates from here a wide range of special wines, which are as authentic as they are pure.
