Frivole, white country wine made from grapes: Ugni Blanc and Colombard.
Château de Cèdre is one of the most acclaimed wineries in Cahors, a region known for its 'Vin Noir', a name it owes to the Malbec grape. Château de Cèdre was founded in 1958 by Charles Verhaeghe and named after the 100-year-old cedar that adorns the domain. Over the years, the Verhaeghe brothers have developed a philosophy of terroir, sustainability and innovation. They combine the precision of Burgundy with the technicality of Bordeaux. As a result, the wines balance between tradition and modernity and have a remarkable conservation potential.
The grapes for this wine are carefully chosen by Jean-Marc and Pascal Verhaeghe. These brothers are among the most acclaimed winemakers of Cahors with their family winery Château du Cèdre. They have a natural feel for elegant, stylish wines.
